Nicholas van Son is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture and Design now working at Hastings Architecture in Nashville, TN.
Nicholas works on various architectural, research, and personal
projects with a primary focus on
computation and physical making.
He has worked in several research
assistantship roles throughout
his education and has completed
a range of projects from addressing socio-economic relationships
to developing additively manufactured construction systems. He
also actively works on projects
outside of his education, developing skills in 3D printing, electronics, woodworking, metalworking, and most recently ceramics.
